We specialize in a unique form of aerobic composting. Our Unturned Covered Aerated Static Pile (UCASP) technology increases our operational efficiency and creates top quality compost. Unique features include reduced energy costs, higher throughput, year-round production, and high-quality, high-value compost.
Our system has exceptional odour control performance resulting from rapid pile construction, continuous aeration, an organic cover, and a biofiltration system that captures exhaust air and treats it, removing odour before it is released to the atmosphere.
Bio-Energy Facility
We are installing the first commercial-scale high solids anaerobic digestion (HSAD) facility in Canada. We will start producing energy from the Metro Vancouver region’s food scraps and yard debris in the spring of 2012. Learn more about our bioenergy production facility here.

Letting the Little Guys do the Heavy Lifting
We might have big machinery, but it’s really the little guys that do the heavy lifting at our facility. Thousands of bacteria, fungi, and higher lifeforms like nematodes operate under the cover of the compost pile to break down the organic materials. We provide these micro- and macro-organisms like the sowbug pictured above with optimal conditions to do their work.
